Every season has it’s magic, but there is no better time to live in the woods than Autumn.
This morning, after I took my little girl to nursery, I took a walk through our woodland. It was just what I needed after the fast pace of half term and an absolutely perfect start to the week.
The sunlight broke through the Autumn trees, rays tumbling down onto the woodland floor, the most brilliant warm tones, crunching under foot and glistening with the morning dew.
I have often posted about Autumn in the woods and the seasonal changes we embrace, and this morning, as the sunlight fell through the chestnut trees and bracken, illuminating every leaf in it’s path, I took some time out, just for me, to take it all in before the start of a new month…
