A spaniel on the road to recovery

I’m going to end this week with another personal post. Anyone who knows me or who follows me on Instagram will have seen that our cocker spaniel suffered a debilitating neck injury a few weeks ago.

Yesterday, we travelled back to the North Downs Specialist Referrals to have our final consultation with the neurologist who operated on our boy and to have his staples removed. Rudolfo, the neurologist was incredibly happy with progress and told us that Digby’s crate rest could come to an end and the long 4 week house rest (or arrest which is how D sees it!) should start.

Once again, I can’t thank NDSR enough for all they have done. From the moment we first arrived in distress with our ‘furbaby’ to the moment we left yesterday with D happily back on his feet, they have been simply incredible.
