Mother’s Day Massage in the perfect countryside hideaway
Over the weekend, I was gifted with a real treat for Mother’s Day. Hidden away in the beautiful Sussex countryside is The Beauty Aisle ‘Hideaway’, a cosy little retreat offering holistic massage, facials and makeup trials.
The Beauty Aisle ‘Hideaway’ is situated on a working farm in the lovely village of Burwash. At the bottom of a country track and surrounded by fields of sheep and Spring lambs, it is blissfully quiet and the perfect setting for my child-free 60 minute holistic massage.
The Beauty Aisle was set up by Ellie, who has been working as a makeup artist in fashion and weddings over the past 6 years and over those years, she has had an increasing interest in wellness and natural products, containing the very best ethical ingredients and decided to expand The Beauty Aisle to include holistic massage and facials.
With a sore, tired body, my massage couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I arrived in the beautiful setting and enjoyed a warm herbal tea and stepped into a deeply relaxing room, lit with candles and soothing perfumed air. The couch was heated allowing me to sink into the cosy environment I found myself in and really relax into the treatment.
The traditional Swedish techniques used by Ellie are aimed to restore balance within the body and I felt incredible during the treatment and completely relaxed and rejuvenated when I left.

I would recommend The Beauty Aisle to anyone seeking complete relaxation; Ellie can travel within the Tunbridge Wells area, however ‘The Hideaway’ is the perfect environment to really feel the benefits of the treatment. The fresh country air and the beautiful location allows you to completely switch off and unwind allowing you to sink into a world of calm.
I had a 60 minute massage which costs £50, a 30 minute massage costs £35.
